An online shop that grows
with the business
Powerlogy builds its brand on functional nutrition and quality food. We have been developing its online shop since 2015. It started on a simple template, and step by step we connected it to the company's systems.
Since then it has been through two major redesigns and gained dozens of custom features. We are carrying out the current facelift while the shop stays fully live.

We started with a simple online shop
In 2015 Powerlogy's founder, Dušan Plichta, got in touch with us. At the time, the shop ran on WordPress, WooCommerce and a simple premium theme.
From the start, we were not only dealing with looks. Together we worked out how to build the shop technically so that it would support the growth of both the brand and its sales.
Those first tweaks gradually turned into a partnership that continues to this day.
Not every shop needs a new website every three years.
Five chapters of one online shop
Major redesigns and smaller changes always followed what the growing company needed at the time.
2015
The partnership begins
Powerlogy came to us with a simple WooCommerce shop. We started with incremental improvements meant to help a growing brand sell better.
2018
First major redesign
As the brand grew, the original shop was no longer enough. After several months of development, we launched a new design and a custom technical solution for WooCommerce.
2019
Second major redesign
We updated the technology foundation and added connections to invoicing, the warehouse and carriers. Wholesale ordering, bundles and triple packs followed.
2021
Expansion and further development
The shop expanded into further markets, including the Czech Republic and Germany. Integrations, analytics tools, gift vouchers, subscriptions and better search were added.
2023+
A gradual facelift on the live shop
Instead of another big restart, we are changing the design step by step, directly on the live shop: product pages, header, homepage and other parts.
A small team grew into a company
At the start, there was a small team around the founder. Today Powerlogy is a company with dozens of products, customer support, outsourced fulfilment and a physical shop with a café.
So the website could not stay a simple product catalogue. It gradually adapted to changes across the whole business, whether in the warehouse or in expansion abroad.
The site has to change as the business changes.
A bespoke shop, not a template
WordPress with WooCommerce remained the foundation. On top of it, we gradually built custom features, driven by what sales needed at the time.
Product bundles
Triple packs
Subscriptions
Gift vouchers
Wholesale ordering
Advanced search
The solution is not held back by the limits of a single theme or an off-the-shelf system. When the company needs a new feature, we add it without changing the whole foundation.
New features follow what the company actually needs.
The shop is wired into the business
In a growing business, a working checkout is not enough. Orders, warehouse, invoicing, shipping and fulfilment have to work together without unnecessary manual work.

Fulfilment and shipping
dispatch without manual retyping
The number of integrations is not the point. An order should pass through the whole process with as few manual steps as possible.
Data moves between systems without anyone retyping it.
A redesign without taking the shop offline
The latest major design change did not arrive all at once. Launching everything in a single day would have meant unnecessary risk for a business that is up and running.
We roll out changes in stages and keep watching how they perform live. Each one should help customers find their way faster and complete their purchase.

The new design arrives in stages. Sales carry on.
One foundation for several markets
Powerlogy gradually expanded beyond Slovakia. We were there for its entry into the Czech market and for the preparation of an English-language .eu site for other countries.

Other markets, in English
The sites share a common technology foundation, yet each market can work to its own needs. A new market does not mean a new shop built from scratch.
With the shop since 2015
We are not a supplier that hands over a project and walks away. We keep developing and optimising the shop and look after its technical side.
We know not only the code but also the history of the decisions behind it: why each part of the solution is built the way it is.
Continuous development
Changes, optimisations and new features are added continuously. Nobody waits for a big wave of changes every few years.
We know why things were decided
When a new idea comes up, nobody has to spend months getting to know the existing solution.
We know when to rebuild
And when it is better to extend the existing solution or gradually replace part of it.
A simple online shop grew into a platform.
Tech that doesn't slow growth
Powerlogy has changed a great deal since 2015, and the shop's technology foundation has evolved with it the whole time. Starting from scratch was not always necessary.
It was often more sensible to extend or adjust the existing solution, or to replace just one part of it. That decision is easier to make when the team has known the shop for years.

The partnership led to another website
For Powerlogy's founder, Dušan Plichta, we built a blog about healthy eating, quality food and lifestyle.
