This page explains what personal data we process about you when you visit webikon.sk or send us an enquiry, why we do so, who we share it with and what rights you have.

Who processes your data

The controller is Webikon s.r.o., Vápenná 15, 821 04 Bratislava, Company ID 46809422, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava I District Court, Section Sro, Insert No. 83737/B.

If you have any questions about the protection of your personal data, contact us at [email protected].

Contact form and email

When you send us an enquiry through the form on our website, we process the data you enter: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), project type and stage, indicative budget and the text of your message. We also process the data in any email you send us directly.

We use this data to reply to you, discuss your project with you and, where relevant, prepare a quote. We do not use it for any other purpose, such as marketing. The lawful basis is your request and steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We keep form enquiries for 365 days from submission, after which they are deleted automatically. We keep email correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry or for our cooperation. If a contract results from the cooperation, we keep the data needed to perform it and for accounting purposes for as long as the law requires.

Visitor analytics

If you allow it in the cookie banner, we measure website traffic with Google Analytics 4, which we run through Google Tag Manager. We can see, for example, which pages are read and on which devices, but not who you are.

The lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Until you give it, analytics cookies are not loaded. You can withdraw your consent at any time in the cookie settings. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for a maximum of 14 months.

Website operation and security

The website runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Each visit involves processing technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. We need this data to deliver the page and to protect the website against attacks. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients of your data

We do not sell your data. It is processed only by services that run our website and communications on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, form processing and storage of enquiries;
  • Resend: sending email notifications of new enquiries;
  • Google: our mailbox (Google Workspace) and, with your consent, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

These companies are based in the USA or may transfer data there. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or on standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

In relation to your personal data, you have the right to:

  • access the data we process about you;
  • request its rectification or erasure;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdraw your consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

To exercise these rights, simply email us at [email protected]. We will respond without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

If you believe we are processing your data in breach of the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.
