A platform for a new way of investing
Across came up with a crowdfunding investment concept in which a number of smaller investors can invest together in private companies.
The service needed a platform that could handle the whole process: user registration and verification, project selection, the investment itself and ongoing communication with investors.
Across Crowd therefore brings investment opportunities and all the key project information together in one client area.
One platform for the investor's whole journey, from sign-up to managing investments.
Registration and the client area
With a financial product, the registration process has to be clearly defined and personal data handled securely.
In Across Crowd, investors verify themselves with personal details and a photo and also take a financial literacy test. Once their details have been processed, the account is activated.
They then get their own client area, where they can see investment projects and information about their investments.
With a financial product, data security is the foundation of trust.
Choosing projects, managing investments
Once the profile is active, investors choose from the available projects and enter the amount they want to invest.
The platform then shows the required documents and each step of the process. When investors complete it, they become co-owners of the chosen project.
It does not end with the investment. In their profile, investors have ongoing access to project information, news and reports.
Investors always know what is happening with their investment.
Across Crowd is part of a long-term partnership
We have worked with Across Group since 2017. Across Crowd is one of the digital products we have created as part of this partnership.
Before that, we also built Across Connect for Across, an app for managing a financial portfolio. Clients use it to view their portfolio, make changes, and approve and create new instructions.
We continue to work on Across's digital products after launch.
From design to further development
We consulted the client on the solution throughout development. In designing the interface, our main concern was making the whole process clear to investors.
We logged feedback from testing in our project management system, so we had an overview of every task and could respond to comments quickly.
The partnership did not end at launch. We continue to develop the platform, adding new features and improvements over time.
